As a Montreal wedding photographer, I don’t shoot too often in winter, thank goodness. I don’t think I’m alone in saying this statement: I hate winter, especially this winter. That said, there’s always a bright side and that was an engagement session with the adorable Sabrina & Casey on Mont Royal at the lookout.

We watched and waited and planned for our shoot, and many times Mother Nature thwarted us! We had to be patient if we didn’t want to shoot in freezing rain, complete white out snowstorms or the deep freeze cold. Our patience was rewarded with a mild and slightly sunny day that was simply glorious.

This couple is all smiles and so clearly in love with each other. I felt so lucky to be the one to capture their cuteness and have such a fun afternoon with them. We played in the snow, were stalked by an over-zealous squirrel, even made snow angels, ran away from a drone and finished our adventure with delicious lattes from Le Comptoir at the Grand Chalet.

I can’t wait to capture their bid day this May!

Xoxo, Val
