When it comes to Montreal wedding shows, the Elegant Wedding Bridal Show is THE event of the year for anyone getting married and those of us in the wedding industry. It brings together the best of the best vendors in Montreal for this unique Montreal wedding show and Studio Baron Photo was so proud to be a part of it.
As always, it took place at the luxurious Le Windsor Ballrooms on Peel in downtown Montreal. Every nook of the place was decked out in wedding wonder, ranging from extraordinary florists, stunning wedding dresses, avant-garde rental companies, hair and make up gurus and of course, super talented photographers and more.
What makes this Montreal wedding show a standout isn’t the amazing giveaways, the top notch drinks and food served throughout the show by the polished wait staff or the stunning backdrop of Le Windsor Ballrooms. It’s the people that attend, yes you (all approx. 1500!)
Studio Baron Photo was so lucky to speak to so many engaged couples that we were floating on cloud nine with all the excitement coming from everyone. It’s a real pleasure for us to actually speak with people, and not blindly hand out a business card, a giveaway token and hope to hear from couples afterwards. We’re all about the personalized service, and it starts when we say ‘hello’ at the Elegant Wedding Bridal Show. Studio Baron Photo isn’t a volume business, we’re a boutique studio that prides itself on know all our clients and being there for them.
With over 15 photographers at this Montreal wedding show, we had the challenge of standing out in the crowd of talent, and I think we did just that!
Studio Baron Photo had the opportunity to have a 360 degree booth, open on all sides, making us accessible to everyone. When deciding how to create this look, we turned to one of our very good friends, Tenue de soiree to help come up with our concept of a cozy and warm bookshelf to display our photographs of our lovely clients. We chose to print and frame all of our photos in antique style gold frames. It just felt right.
The space was perfectly filled in with candles and accessories, some from Tenue de Soiree and some from my very own home! Yes, those antique cameras are mine. One was actually my late grand father’s, how cool is that?!?!? The other, a birthday gift from my family. What’s a bookshelf without books, right? Truth be told, I’m a bit of a hoarder of stunning photography coffee table books, ranging from portrait masters, wedding photography, high fashion and home décor. So, I was all set to raid my own stash and bring it to the show!
With all that, I wanted to bring a touch of nature to my display, and in comes the creative talent of Fleur & Sense. They provided Studio Baron Photo with small arrangements of white tulips and leaves in a variety of gold & white, bronze and clear pots. So elegant!
I think the show stopper was our lovely modern and sleek bookshelf itself, provided by the incredible team at Locations LUXE rentals. If you need anything, they are the ones to call! They helped work out the ideal way to present our 360 booth, and made everything just perfect. The icing on the cake was the gorgeous branding they created for us, with our name so perfectly emblazoned on the top. We loved it!
All in all, November 5th, 2017 was a great day to be a part of the Elegant Wedding Magazine family and get to meet guests, future clients and be a part of a great experience for so many, with special thanks to the industry experts that helped us to create our own Studio Baron Photo space.
We’re looking forward to hearing from you all, and hopefully being your photographer and capturing your special day!
Xoxo, Val
