What’s an engaged couple to do when they're trying to plan a boho wedding in or around Montreal? Moreover, who are these engaged couples? They're stylish, unique, have a boho flair, maybe a bit hipster, definitely on trend and want to find the best of the best for their wedding. Montreal delivered the answers on March 19th, 2017 and will do it again next year. Many engaged couples have similar complaints, being that all wedding shows are the same, or at least a variations of the same thing; stuffy, cheesy, everyone is the same and it’s just gimmicks and sales. Right? Wrong!
Montreal was has been waiting for Le Coeur Bohème and we didn’t even know it. This past weekend 46 of the best vendors, from photography (hey, that’s me!) to florals, sweets, dresses and suits and more, were represented at the new Groupe Madison’s Gare Viger in the old port.
It was intimate and stunning with chandeliers cascading down from almost every inch of the ceiling, the brick walls and floor to ceiling windows. All the vendors nailed the bohemian flair with their booth décor. Most importantly, it was easy for visitors to navigate and speak to the vendors that interested them and get information for their upcoming weddings.
There were plenty of other industry vendors that came out to see what Le Coeur Bohème was all about, and they were not disappointed! Everyone soaked up the eye-catching displays, the free samples and the DIY workshops. Media was on hand to get the word out about this new kid on the wedding show block, and the organizers, Victoria from La Marie Bohème and Samantha from Sam & Bee Weddings did such a great job curating this show, I am confident there will be a 2nd edition next year. Stay tuned !
