Studio Baron Photo Montreal engagement shoot with colorful mural

Montreal Engagement Shoot - Andrea & Shawn

How to create an eye-popping Montreal engagement shoot? Go to the Plateau area with an amazing couple! Mont-Royal street was the backdrop for a super-fun and colourful engagement shoot for Studio Baron Photo with the cutest couple, Andrea & Shawn. We chased the murals and enjoyed ice cream, played in the garden shop and used the Mont-Royal Metro station for an epic photo!

I am really into using hard light these days, and making the most of the natural light mother nature is so graciously giving us when it’s not raining, lol. We had all of that, and played in the golden hour to get amazing photos.

Amanda and Shawn are seriously fun. These two are so full of energy and up for anything, that we had the best time. Truth be told, Shawn wasn’t so keen on the idea of a Montreal engagement shoot, but Andrea convinced him to partake. Not even at the end, but half way through our time together HE WAS A TOTAL CONVERT and was totally on board, almost shouting the praises of doing the e-session. (soon we will be adding video testimonials to the website, and the first one will be Shawn & Andrea, and they will share how valuable they found the Montreal engagement shoot to be!)

Thanks to our time together for the engagement shoot, they are both looking forward to the wedding day’s photography and the amazing time we’ll have together. Bonus, Shawn is a performer and will be doing a little something a little gangsta at the wedding that will for sure make for some crazy awesome photos.

A big thanks to Montreal’s mural artists for their creativity and amazing pieces of art that allow us to go next level with our photography. Be sure to check out everything you need to know about Mural Festival on their website. Even if you missed this year’s, you can still go see their work, including the now iconic mural of Montreal singer-songwriter, Leonard Cohen.

Xoxo, Val
